Updates [April]
Wow! It’s been almost a month since our last updates from March and we’re very excited about everything that we’ve done for this month! So let’s see what we’ve been working on:
- Sort options
- Description on your profile
- QR Code for print
- Expired Ads
- New “Scam/Safe” icons
- Mark ad as taken/available
- Report ad as no longer available
- Social Media Links
- Sort options

We wanted to give you more control on the ads and the listing itself so you spend less time in finding the ad that you are looking for. The Sort options does exactly that, now you can easily sort the listing by price or by suburb. - Description on your profile

We have added a description field in the profile page so people can write a little bit about themselves. Hopefully this will give users the opportunity to know each other better within the community. - QR Code for print

We have included a QR Code in the print for every ad. This is a brand new feature and we are still experimenting with it. So if you have any question or suggestion, we would really like to hear from you. - Expired Ads

All ads have an expiration date now (30 days after being posted). Expired ads will have a notice displayed at the top of the ad in the detail page. - New “Scam/Safe” icons

New
We have changed the “emoticons” style icons to something more standard: thumb up and thumb down. Also, the map icon is shown in the listing for ads that has map in it. - Mark ad as taken/available

Owner of an ad has the option to mark the ad as “Taken” or “Available” in the ad detail page. This can be done at anytime. Taken ads are greyed out with a cross line through in the title, this setting is viewable by everyone.
- Report ad as no longer available

On a similar way, any user can report an ad as no longer available. Reported ads are greyed out with a cross line through in the title, this setting is viewable only to the reporter. - Social Media Links!
Facebook, Twitter and our blog are all now listed in the footer.
There are also some other minor changes that are not viewable to show in here. It’s been a very busy month, we still have a very long TODO list to go, so just hang in there, because Treegr is getting better and better!
